About Me
As a graphic designer it doesn’t come easy, which is good because the more creative risks a designer takes, the more positive outcomes that can come out of the work. The impact that I’d like to make as a graphic designer to encourage, inspiration, creativity, and open-mindness in hopes that it’ll influence somebody else in a way where they can relate to it or just simply make people happy. I’m particularly interested in branding, identity, and web design. Throughout my study of design, it’s hard to pinpoint what or who inspired me to be a designer in the first place, but I observed quite a few designers that gave advice on becoming a better designer. A world without designers and creatives would make for a bland world.Â
Graphic Design is not the only forte, but fine arts is another category that I specialize in. How I got into fine art in the first place is very indescribable. When I do fine art I usually paint, draw, or print about my personal life or a theme that’s inspired my hardships of being a minority (the black community/African). It’s not just about showing pain of being a African, but it’s to educate people on what’s behind the pain of being African.
The approach to good design is to be thorough and have credibility. When becoming a designer it’s important to learn the basics and overtime the designs will bloom into something more.
